After securing promotion this season (09/10), Watton Ladies 1st team will be playing in Division 1 of the East Women’s League next season.            

                                                                                                                                 Training is held every Thursday 7.30 to 9pm at Watton Sports Centre, Dereham Road, Watton.... please feel free to come along, new players always welcome.

Watton Ladies 1st Team in National HA Final 2007!!

Watton Ladies 1st team made hockey history becoming the first team in Norfolk to ever make it to the National final. Doing everybody proud they fought hard and narrowly missed out on the Trophy conceding 2 goals in the final minutes to lose the game 3-1 after having come back from 1-0 down earlier in the game to hold it to a tight finish.

With fantastic support, around 100 supporters made the 2 hour journey to Chelmsford Hockey club, the girls put on a fantastic show for everyone with a thoroughly enjoyable game.

Congratulations to Dulwich & Tulse Hill who played their part in making the day such fun. And a BIG THANKS to all those who came and supported and to Watton Sports Centre who provided a coach for the supporters who undoubtedly out numbered any other team that day!
